WHY INVEST:
Australian resources are our specialty and we have over 30 years’ experience with the companies and the people central to Australian resources.

Australia has been a major global source of minerals since its gold discoveries in the 1850s. Since this period, lead-zinc-silver, copper and coal have also became major export commodities for Australia and from the late 1960s Australia has been a pre-eminent supplier of bulk raw materials for the Asian steel industry through iron ore and coking coal. Australia ranks well into the top 10 suppliers of many resource commodities and has become the most important supplier of seaborne mineral products to world markets. Australia’s mineral legacy and its immense energy self sufficiency have helped insulate the Australian economy from the worst of the "Global Financial Crisis".

Australia’s transparent mining code has provided certainty for all investors and its JORC Code on resources and reserves had been adopted around the world.

Australian companies such as BHP and its part-Australian rival Rio Tinto have become the world’s largest resources companies with assets spread from Africa to South America and Asia.

The strength of Australian small capitalised resource companies lies their dynamic management and strong focus on ownership and share price realisation.

Australia’s geotechnicians have provided many of the world’s leading technologies in exploration, development, mining and smelting and will continue to provide ground breaking technologies as this extended cycle runs its course.

With mineral wealth, our transparent JORC Code, geotechnical expertise and vibrant junior company sector, Australia plays a central role in world resource markets.
